Climate change poses some specific challenges with increased rainfall, warmer weather and rising sea levels.

Bamboo

Bamboo is a very sustainable material, as the plant is fast-growing, naturally thrives without pesticides and fertilizers, absorbs large amounts of CO2 and produces 35% more oxygen than trees do.

Bamboo is a very solid material, and since it is also naturally antibacterial, it is highly suitable for cooking and serving.

Bamboo decomposes naturally in the environment. Bamboo can take either a few months or some years to biodegrade, because bamboo’s decomposition depends on several conditions: soil, temperature and atmosphere. Depending on the type of composting, the bamboo sticks can take from 3 years to 4 months to compost.

Lava Stone

100% environmentally safe recycling

As the lava stones is an inorganic and neutral product, there is no risk of it rotting or transforming. This means it can be recycled. There is no need for landfill, and it can easily be returned to nature and even used as soil improvement and 100% pure cultivation for plants.

Cardboard

The corrugated board is made of recycled paper, which requires less energy, water and fewer chemicals to make than non-recycled paper. However, the corrugated board for the grate is made of virgin paper, which is food contact approved

Recycled Paper.
100% renewable material.
The corrugated board can be recycled or discarded, thereby being included in energy production.

In more typical garden conditions — when a piece of cardboard is used as mulch or specifically shredded and soaked to decompose efficiently — biodegradation occurs quickly, with the majority of cardboard completely broken down by microorganisms within three months

Bamboo Charcoal Briquette

Bamboo is a very sustainable material, as the plant is fast-growing, naturally thrives without pesticides and fertilisers, absorbs large amounts of CO2 and produces 35% more oxygen than trees do.

The design of the donut shaped briquette opmimizes the heat performace in combination with the lava stones. This result in up to 50% less use of carbon and a better performance compared to the well-known disposable aluminium grill.

The bamboo briquettes is easy to light with Quick Oxylite™ and will be ready in approx. 5 minutes and burning time is more than 60 minutes.

Care & Disposal

All materials are organic and biodegradable materials except the lava stones.

Before disposal take out the lava stones and leave the cardboard and bamboo for recycling in a bin. As the lava stones is an inorganic and neutral product, there is no risk of it rotting or transforming. This means it can be recycled. There is no need for landfill, and it can easily be returned to nature and even used as soil improvement and 100% pure cultivation for plants.

If allowed you can also leave CasusGrill™ in a camp fire and you don’t leave any trash in nature.
